Sam and I went to Laramie today to attend the 12th Annual Coat Couture. Basically the students from Caitlin's coat design class displayed their coats in the American Heritage Center at the University and friends and family were invited to see their works of art. I was so impressed with Caitlin's work. Her coat was beautiful and certainly reflected her love of the outdoors and especially winter sports.
She named her coat "Freestyle Puff". It is made from breathable, waterproof fabric with a thinsulate inner core. It is completely reversible!
This shows the back of the coat and the leaf applique which is shown in detail below.
This same leaf is appliqued on the green side as well.
I think she loves her coat!
