The Road Home

These photos are from this summer when I was on my way home after driving out to see Caitlin and Will.

Medicine Bow is visible in the background.

More Wyoming Wild Flowers

Not really flowers, but they sure were happy!

Hiking in Snowy Range

Wild Columbine

Sam and I went out to Wyoming to spend a few days with Caitlin.  While hiking in the mountains near Medicine Bow Peak, we came across a field with lots of Columbine.  I had never seen so many in one place in the wild before, they were beautiful!!

Sunrise

Hiking Medicine Bow Peak

Caitlin wasn't feeling too well on Saturday and since Will was going to have to leave around noon that day, Sam and I went on a hike by ourselves.  Caitlin suggested that we do a loop that would take us to the top of Medicine Bow Peak.  What we didn't know was that it was a 7 mile loop that took us up 2000 feet and then back down!  It was absolutely gorgeous but my legs are still killing me!  We also learned after the hike that it was classified as "difficult"!

Trip to Wyoming

Sam and I got to go spend a long weekend with Caitlin and Will.  On the way to Laramie, we took Happy Jack road.  The scenery was so pretty even though it had rained and was cloudy.  On Friday we hiked the Little Laramie Trail.

Doesn't this look like a boar's head!
