Valentine's Flowers

Valentine Cookies

I tried some new techniques with royal icing and with buttercream icing.  Not sure what happened to some of the royal icing but I had fun experimenting!

These 2 photos are of buttercream flowers.

These show how the royal icing went funky!

January Monochrome

I experimented again with moving the camera while shooting snow shots.  These are from one of the snows in January.  I processed them as monochromes.

Then there were some snowflakes as well that landed on the lantern on the front porch.  Not wonderful shots but I was amazed at how the flakes landed individually.

Suite P Studio in January

These are some of the first photos I took of my studio after I reupholstered the couch.  Since then a few things have been added and when I get the cutting table finished I'll post more photos.

Photos I Forgot to Post -- Christmas 2017

I took photos of the aprons I made for Erin, Elizabeth and her 3 American Girl dolls.  I didn't take any photos of those that I made for Eric, Toodie, Henry and Charlotte.  I think I was running out of time!

 Doll aprons

 Erin's apron

 Elizabeth's apron

Two lovely "volunteer" models :)

These photos are of elves I made as place cards for our Christmas dinner for the interns and friends.  I made a few extras to use on Christmas gifts.  Oh yeah, the most important thing, they are holding Lindt truffles!

The Front Porch

Just so I remember for next summer!

Cookies!!!

Sara asked if I'd help with some cookies that she is making for the celebration of Spud and Alyssa's upcoming marriage.  Sara baked and I decorated.  Here's what we did.  As for the photos, I didn't realize the reflection on the glass would be so strong!
