Kris and I started our adventure Sunday by photographing Egrets.
Sunday was a great day to catch birds in flight!
I like this photo because the fuzzy white dots in the background are Egrets.
The flora was also beautiful, even the spider web.

Always up for an adventure, I was quick to say let's go when Kris said she'd go back to see the pelicans with me if I wanted to go. We left home at 5am this morning and were blessed with a gorgeous sunrise.

One pelican actually flew right over our heads. I'm told his wingspan is 9 feet!

Butterflies & Bees in my Garden
Sunday, following my first lesson, I practiced shooting some butterflies and bees in my front flower garden. It was fun to see the pollen on the bees legs.
My First SLR Lesson
I went to the Sunken Gardens on Saturday with Kris for my first SLR lesson. What a blast. As Caitlin says, "Everyone should have a friend like Kris."
