New Lens

I found a 28-70 f2.8L Canon lens on Craigslist and arranged to meet the seller at the Sunken Garden.  Pam said it sounded a bit on the creepy side, but it was great deal, and besides Sam went with me.  After buying the lens I did some practice with it.

 The photo above was taken with the new lens and the ones below with the 100-400mm.

Swans at Crystal Springs

Kris, Pam, and I went to Crystal Springs for the first time this year.  The Barbers let us walk on their property to get to the lake.  They had Swans in the lake and Eagles in the trees.  I had my new 100-400 lens and was using it for the first time.  Photos aren't so wonderful but we had a great time and it was loads of fun to be out again and see some great water fowl.

Not sure if this is a muskrat or a beaver.
