Pawnee Lake
This afternoon Sam and I went to Pawnee Lake and hiked a bit and then had a picnic. We saw lots of birds: Cormorant, Gulls, Flickers, and Finch but I was taking photos of weeds!

Snowshoeing at Happy Jack
After a great Fondue lunch at Caitlin's place, we went to Happy Jack to snowshoe. Well, Sam and I snowshoed and Caitlin cross-country skied for the first time. We all had a great time, and decided that we should exercise like that after every fondue!
The sun was shining when we arrived.
After about an hour, fog came rolling in and actually "frosted" Caitlin's headband.
By the time we got to the car, the fog was really thick!

Crystals, Condensation, & Snowshoeing
Kris let me borrow her extension tube to use with my 50mm lens and then suggested that I try it out on some ice crystals which had formed on a window. They were really cool to photograph.
Is that New Zealand?
Who'd of thought condensation could be so interesting.
After shooting the crystals and condensation, we went snowshoeing at Holmes Lake, first time this winter, or should I say fall.
