Park Hudson Trail

I love walking in the mornings when I go to visit Pam & Bob.  The Park Hudson Trail is just a couple of blocks from their home and the flora and fauna there is always interesting.

Check out the fly on this flower.  Besides being lustrous, his legs are covered in pollen!

Passion Flowers

These flowers were also on the Hudson Park trail in Bryan, Texas.  I couldn't believe they were growing wild!

Hudson Park Trail

Walking the trail near Pam & Bob's home was really fun.  There were butterflies, great wildflowers, and fauna I can't name.

Texas Wildflowers

Pam took me to Washington on the Brazos, the birthplace of Texas =).  It was a beautiful place and though the Bluebonnets were not in full bloom there were some to be found along with a variety of other wildflowers.  Today, Sunday March 28, I found the names of some of these  wildflowers and I've added them below.

Texas Paintbrush

Spiderwort

Rose Mallow

Bluebonnet

The Bluebonnet fields that we saw weren't any fuller than this.

Texas Dandelion

And of course another Bluebonnet, i.e. Texas Lupin
