A Shower for Henry

Oh boy!  It's been a long time since I've posted on my blog, but I'm excited to share this post with you.  Today, we celebrated the soon to arrive, Henry Larson.  His mommy & daddy were unable to attend the shower in person, but Face Time is a great way to connect.  Here are some shots, mostly prior to people coming.  I forget to get my camera out when people are in action :(

Please come in!

So glad you came to join us.

Buster & Francine were in attendance.  They even got spruced up for the occasion!

Something from Grandpa Bob, who lettered when he was 2 (at least that's what he tells us).

What's a shower without a giraffe.  I made this little guy for Henry & then decided he could help out with the decor of the shower.

This was probably my favorite part of the shower.  Everyone had a "Dear Henry" page and we all wrote our wishes/hopes for Henry.  Some of my favorites were written by Lily. "I hope you love....toys", was one that's just too cute!

Baby's breath at a baby shower, what a genius idea---thanks Grandma Pam!

Napkins that look like bow ties---thanks Pinterest :)

A silly game where we all drew a picture of what we think Henry will look like.  The only catch was, you had to hold the card on your forehead and draw...

....unless you were smart like Lily and said to heck with the rules.  Guess who Toodie judged as the winner :0
I'm so glad I had the privilege of hosting this shower, it was such fun to put together!  And, in a couple of weeks I'll be in Houston at Henry's home helping to get things just right for his arrival---can't wait.
