The Harvey's tulips.
Mr. Epstrom's Magnolia, a little late in the season to photograph them.
Redbud
I don't know the name of this bird but he greeted us as we entered the Spring Creek Prairie Visitor's Center.
This is a Meadowlark that we saw as we walked along a historic trail. The trail has ruts from wagons that passed through in the 1860's, a rare sight.
A red Dragonfly
A Muskrat that didn't seem to mind that we were nearby. He looks a lot like the Guinea Pigs we had as pets, until you see his tail!
They were doing some controlled prairie fires when we were there.
On the way home we saw this building from the main road to Denton. We pulled up in front of it and asked a man who was walking by what it was. He said it was a Buddhist Temple and that it was "a unique addition to the neighborhood".
