Flowers around the Heights

I love walking in the Houston neighborhood where Toodie & Eric live and on this visit the weather was pretty cooperative.

A fun statue in someone's front yard

This flower is from the Plumbago plant.  The first 2 photos were taken with my 28-70 lens and the last was taken with a lensbaby composer pro lens.

 Sago Palm

This photo was taken with my 28-70 lens and the photo below was taken with the Lensbaby composer pro.  I like what the lens does to the background, but it is very hard to focus!

These 2 photos of purple flowers are Bougainvillea ans were also taken with the lensbaby composer pro.

This looks like a type of orchid to me but I couldn't find it's name.  It was growing at Eric & Toodie's.
