Sam and I took advantage of the beautiful weather Sunday, and with the help of "Deep Woods Off", we visited Nine Mile Prairie. I had visited with Lynn Knudsen's father last weekend and he told me that there was a plant called "Butterfy Milkweed" that was in bloom now and that it was worth fighting off the ticks to see it. There were lots of other flowers as well!
I think these are some of the wild Orchids that grow at Nine Mile Prairie.
Queen Anne's Lace
Salisfy
Butterfly Milkweed
Coneflower
