Last Friday, Sam saw a Hummingbird come to the feeder (we had hung it about a week ago because he was sure he heard one, and sure enough he did!). Monday morning, Mary Jo & I sat on the front porch waiting for them to come, and they did. We even saw a male, however, I never did get a photo, they're quick little hummers! Since it had rained the night before, I found some flowers to photograph in the early morning sun.
Since then I have been busy trying to get ready for our trip. We leave in 2 days for Quito! I've included some photos of the gifts I've made to take along.
