Last Student Day of the Year!!!

So I went to Chet Ager Nature Center with Kris because in reading about it I learned that Wood Ducks are common there, and since I've never seen one I thought it would be fun to check it out.  There were plenty of dragon flies to be seen, but it wasn't until I got home and looked at my photos on the computer that I realized the mother duck with her ducklings was actually a Wood Duck!

I thought this was a female Cardinal but Sam showed me that it was just a Sparrow.

I sort of caught this one in flight, not an easy thing to do.
