It was a Wonderful Day

As you can see I only caught birds flying away!  We, Kris, Karon, and I, were searching for the 127 trumpeter swans that had been sighted at Squaw Creek but were not having much luck.

 

This is the area where we thought we'd see the swans.

 

Evidence?

We finally found the swans, and most of the bald eagles too.  As you can tell, they were very far away, but I had to include this photo.  I like the bald eagle on the right who seems to be supervising the swans.

 

And the best part of the day---Caitlin came home!!!  She had called when we were on our way home from Squaw Creek because she was in Lincoln, but I didn't know that.  She kept calling, and I kept running errands.  When I finally got home, I noticed a car with Wyoming plates parked in front of the house and I thought that was too much of a coincidence, and sure enough she was in the house waiting for me!
