Kris, Karon, and I got up really early Monday morning to visit Crystal Springs because Kris had seen a juvenile bald eagle there on Saturday. Way up in the top of this tree we spotted an adult bald eagle.
Unfortunately I didn't get another picture of the bald eagle but the reflection of the trees in the lake was gorgeous.
This duck struck a pose!
There remains one lonely pelican at Crystal Springs. He only has one good wing so I guess he plans to winter in Nebraska. Hope he makes it.
